Staff Nurse A&E

​Job Description:

​Medgen Healthcare Ireland are currently recruiting for a Staff Nurse with experience in an Accident and Emergency (A&E) setting. As an A&E Nurse, you will play a critical role in providing rapid and effective treatment to patients requiring urgent care. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary teams to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate emergency care, ensuring the best outcomes for our patients.

Key Responsibilities:

• Triage and assess patients presenting with various medical emergencies.

• Provide emergency nursing care, including administering medications, wound management, and resuscitation.

• Monitor and document patient progress.

• Collaborate with doctors, paramedics, and other healthcare professionals.

• Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies.

• Deliver care in a calm and efficient manner, even in high-pressure situations.

Candidate Requirements:

• Registered by the NMBI

• Minimum 6 months experience in A&E

• Efficient documentation skills

• Ability to deliver nursing interventions and assume patient care responsibilities

Person Specification:

• Excellent interpersonal and team building skills

• Fluency in English

• Valid eligibility to work in the Republic of Ireland

• Driver's license is advantageous
